Directions 6/22

The Mills campus is located just off Interstate 580, southeast of downtown Oakland.

If you are coming from San Francisco, downtown Oakland, or the North Bay, take I-580 East (toward San Leandro and Hayward) and exit at MacArthur Boulevard (preceded by the High Street exit and followed by the Seminary Avenue exit) that is approximately eight freeway miles from the Bay Bridge. The exit will curve to the right, and the entrance to Mills will then be immediately ahead on your left opposite the Union 76 gas station.

If you are coming from the "valley" or the South Bay, take I-580 West (towards Oakland) to the MacArthur Boulevard/ High Street exit immediately following the Seminary Avenue exit and the interchange with Highway 13 (the Warren Freeway). At the exit's stop sign, turn left under the freeway, and left again onto MacArthur Boulevard at the stoplight. The entrance to the Mills campus will be immediately ahead on your left.

Closest parking lot is the CPM 2 Parking Lot
 From the guard gate, drive straight down Richards Road to the "T" intersection
Turn Right onto Kapiolani Road
Take the first left hand turn to approach the Oval
Make an immediate right hand turn (before the Oval) into the "CPM 2" parking lot

Alternate Parking The Oval
From the guard gate, drive straight down Richards Road to the "T" intersection
Turn Right onto Kapiolani Road
Take the first left hand turn to approach the Oval
Turn right onto the Oval, this is a one-way circular road
Look for spaces immediately after making the right turn onto the Oval because they will be closest to Stern

Alternate Parking CPM 1 Parking Lot
From the guard gate, drive straight down Richards Road to the "T" intersection
Turn right onto Kapiolani Road
Take the first left hand turn to approach the Oval
Turn right onto the Oval, this is a one-way circular road 
Go almost half-way around, and just past El Campanile (Clock Tower),
Make a right hand turn.
Make an immediate left turn into the CPM 1 Parking Lot.

GETTING TO THE STERN BUILDING FROM PARKING LOTS
Walk to the Oval (the oval-shaped road in front of the large Victorian building Mills Hall). Turn to your right and walk counter-clockwise around the Oval (you will pass Mills Hall on your right as you walk). Cross the foot bridge with the green railings. Directly in front of you will be Lucie Stern Hall. Walk up the steps (or the ramps), and Stern 100 will be the room directly in front of you.
