About the Course
This portrait sharing experience will span from creating a powerful moving senior portrait to an elegant renaissance portrait of a child. Darton will show how he captures artisting and emotional portraits of his subjects in a pleasing way that touches hearts and produces a handsome income.

Mr. Drake believes that it is a privilege to capture the spirit of another human being. To him, the definition of art is simple - the outward expression of an inner emotion. It is the complete scope of qualities that produce beautiful salon portraits that will both surpass customers' expectations and bring handsome income. His philosophy is not only to create a physical likeness of the subject, but also to record the beauty of their spirit in an artistic and pleasing way that will touch hearts.

Darton will focus on outdoor and window light portraiture using simple but powerful lighting methods. Key elements to be covered include: composition, balance, and color harmony. He will also illustrate the importance of prop and background selection, as well as lens and film choices.
