About the Instructor Calling her work "seriously fun photography," Jennifer Wilson strives to capture the magic in everyday
moments. When she began her business in 2004, Jennifer envisioned it as a job "on the side." Instead, her business exploded, growing faster than she ever could have imagined. Through innovative
word of mouth marketing she has become one of the Los Angeles area's most sought-after photographers. Jennifer's love of photography - a hobby
prior to 1995 - was reignited when she purchased an SLR for an African safari. Through what she calls "sheer luck," she came home with a few great photos but, disappointingly, nothing that
adequately captured the vision that existed in her mind's eye. Determined to change that, she enrolled in photography courses and ultimately learned about and refined her craft through exhaustive
study and practice, practice, practice. While her enthusiasm and talent for photography helped her business take off quickly, Jennifer found that she still had much to learn about the art of running
a business. She is eager to share with her students the hard lessons learned and newbie business-owner mistakes she made along the way to achieving balance in business. Jennifer's awards include
the Fuji Masterpiece Award, Professional Photographers of California 2006 Children's Photographer of the Year, Environmental Photographer of the Year, and Top Ten Photographer. To learn more
