Students may register by mail, phone, or fax with payment in U.S. funds. A minimum 50% deposit is required to reserve a space in a class. Sorry, no one under 18 admitted. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis, so apply early. If your first choice is full, you will be enrolled in your second or third choice if available. If your selection is unavailable, you may placed on standby, choose another course, or receive a full refund. Acknowledgement of applications will be sent within 10 days of receipt. Directions and a list of what to bring will be sent in May. Returned checks subject to a $25 fee.

Refunds/Cancellation READ CAREFULLY!
Student initiated withdrawal from any course is subject to a $125 non-refundable administration fee and remaining deposits will be returned if a written request is received no less than 30 days prior to the course. After that date, no refunds are possible. Because material, equipment, and faculty must be acquired in advance, the school makes commitments based on students who are registered in advance. GGS reserves the right to cancel courses, make faculty changes, or refuse admission to any student. GGS is financially dependent on adequate class registration. If minimum enrollment requirements are not met, a class will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. Courses that do not reach the minimum enrollment will be canceled 30 days before the course. If a scheduled instructor becomes unavailable or a course is cancelled for any other reason, registrants will be informed immediately and offered the opportunity to transfer to another class or receive a full refund of all monies paid to GGS.

Qualifications/Pre-Requisites
Please call 650/548-0889 or e-mail if you have questions as to your qualifications for a course. You may also send a small selection of your work for review (please do not send originals and enclose a SASE if you want the images returned), with a letter outlining your goals and aspirations. Basic to Intermediate classes are designed for students with limited experience or as a refresher course for experienced students. Intermediate to Advanced courses are designed for students with at least five years experience. GGS reserves the right to reassign students who delay advanced courses with basic questions to a class more suited to their experience level.
